April 13, 2014 In an email to all league members from Dan O'Grady on 4/13: Brian Cook has assured me that we will have numerous cookouts at the course again this year. On the nights that we dont have a cookout we will enjoy cold beverages, fine food and warm conversation at the Hooley House. The Hooley House is on Sperry Rd in Westlake, the old Bone Yard location. Sperry runs parallel to I90 between Clague & Columbia. Our able treasurer, Dave Michael, has assured me that there will be some enticing specials for us. Tomorrow night, weather permitting, is our warm-up night. We will have skill prizes and our usual skins game. Following golf we will be heading up to our new watering hole. May 22, 2012 In an email to the entire league from Dan O'Grady: As the late, great, Dick Nixon used to say, let me make this perfectly clear. If we are not enjoying a cookout at the course, the league will be meeting at Paninis at the corner of Clague & Detroit roads. Last night there was some confusion as to our meeting place. Our new treasurer, Mr. Michael, donated his time and energy to arrange for us to have special pricing on food and drink at Paninis. Due to some misinformation generated by a couple of league members we had a small turnout at Paninis. Im not telling you that you cannot go somewhere else if you choose, but I hope you choose to join us at Paninis. April 22, 2012 A note about our gatherings before the league begins tomorrow night: On most nights, we will stay at Hilliard Lakes and have a cookout. Please make sure you "kick in" for the cookout by putting your money in the box provided on the porch. On nights when there is no cookout, we will gather at Panini's in Westlake.
