In atttendance were both Connelly's, the Sweeney's, the Marten's, the Weaver's, the Davis's,

It was a great night for golf.
There were five skins, two for Tom Weaver and three for Jim Sweeney. Nice job guys.
Both were generous to the kitty. Thank You!
The Winter League Investment Club voted to make a short term investment
which because of a mistake, resulted in a small net gain to the kitty.

There were 6 players and 6 guys at The Savannah.
We played as a sixsome in 2 Hours and 5 Minutes.
There were four skins, one each by
John Sullivan, Dan O'Grady, Jim Sweeney and Dave Michael.
Players were generous to the kitty but the Winter League Investment Club voted to make a
short term investment which resulted in a larger than normal net loss to the kitty.

John Duda, Tom Weaver, Dan O'Grady and John Sullivan.
Dan O'Grady had a great score, one under par 35!
Ten guys (and one girl, Mary Weaver) showed up at The Savannah.
Players were generous to the kitty and a good time was had by all.

Outlined against a blue-gray November sky the Four Golfsmen played again.
In dramatic lore they are known as famine, pestilence, destruction and death.
These are only aliases. Their real names are: Weaver, Duda, Sweeney and Davis.

We had a perfect fall night for golf. There were 10 players and
three skins, one each by Dan O'Grady, Jay Geib and John Duda.
Eleven guys showed up at The Savannah.
John Duda is being cited here for continual generosity to the kitty.
It seems like John wins a skin every week and he gives almost all of it back.

There were five skins, one each by Dan O'Grady, Jay Geib, Jim Connelly,
John Sullivan and John Duda. The regulars were generous to our Winter
League Kitty which only took a small hit because of a poor investment!

Dave Martens had his all time low score (43). Congratulations Dave!
John and Jim were generous to the kitty with their skin money. Thanks!
The investment club made a bad decision but the league president overruled
a tie vote and a coin flip so the kitty came out ahead again.

There is a match between the St. Angela League and the St. Bernadette League on this day.
Both tees will be tied up from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
If anyone wants to play Winter League golf, you should tee off BEFORE 4:15 PM.

We had 13 league golfers and one guest (young Colin O'Grady). Eight (8) players went to the Savannah for dinner.
There was one skin worth $50! Steve Famiano was the winner and he generously donated $20.00 to the
Winter League Kitty. Thanks Steve!
Since next Monday is Labor Day, it was suggested that we meet on Tuesday.
I will call the course to see if there is open play and let you know by email
(and by notification at this site).
