DATE START TIME NOTES
Monday, December 4 2:15 PM Seven guys played and we had 12 Winter League members come to the Ironwood Cafe. As usual, we had a great time and in keeping with other nights this year, the investment club went in the tank! All players donated to the kitty!

Monday, November 27 2:15 PM Two of last week's brave souls played again . . . And the investment club made another bad decision . . . two in fact!

Monday, November 20 2:15 PM Three brave souls played golf. My heroes! Others showed up at Ironwood Cafe. The investment club made a bad decision.

Monday, November 13 2:30 PM No golf due to bad weather, but a very good decision by the investment club.

Monday, November 6 2:30 PM The weather was bad all weekend . . . I don't think anyone played golf but I did not get an official report. I don't know if we had a good turnout at the Ironwood Cafe or not. I do know that the investment club made two very bad decisions, but they were saved from their own ways by the ineptness of their broker who failed to make the investment because he was busy with other things!

Monday, October 30 3:30 PM We had a good turnout at the Ironwood Cafe, even though there was no golf because of miserable weather. Besides having good food and good conversation, our Investment Club made a good choice. NOTE: Daylight Savings Time will be over next week.

Monday, October 23 3:45 PM No one played golf tonight because of rain. We had 13 guys at The Ironwood Cafe. It was a fun night and the investment club took a very agressive posture and won! It looks like our banquet will be on Tuesday, December 5th.

Monday, October 16 3:45 PM We had 10 golfers and 11 guys at the Ironwood Cafe. Dan Adler won Closest to the Pin on #5 and there were four skins, one each for Dan Adler, Dave Skok, Dan O'Grady and Dave Martens. All prize winners were generous to the kitty, BUT once again, our investment club had a net loss!

October 16, 2017. This looks like it was taken at a British Open links course! Dan Adler, Dave Skok, Dave Michael, Dan O'Grady and Joe Sweeney pose after a fun night of Winter League Golf.

Monday, October 9 4:00 PM We had 7 golfers and 9 guys at the Ironwood Cafe. Dan O'Grady won Closest to the Pin on #15 and there were five skins, two each for Jim Butts and Dan O'Grady and one for Dave Skok. Everyone was generous to the kitty, BUT our investment club made a two bad decisions!

Monday, October 2 4:00 PM Report filed by Dave Martens: There were 19 golfers on a beautiful night at little Augusta, with its lightning fast greens. Dave Skok took the closest to the pin. There were 4 skins from Tom Connelly, Dale Bielek, Jim Butts and Jim Hammerich. All were generous to the kitty. 18 gentlemen were present at The Ironwood with an overwhelming vote for a winning investment. NOTE: Andy Trutza reported that for the first time in two years, Jaybird had a good meal!

Monday, September 25 4:00 PM We had 12 golfers and 11 guys at the Ironwood Cafe. Joe Sweeney won Closest to the Pin on #15 and there were five skins, on the last five holes . . . one each for Dave Martens, Jim Connelly, Frank Fanta, John McCarthy and Andy Trutza. All prize winners were EXTREMELY generous to the kitty AND our investment club made a PATRIOTIC CHOICE and picked a winner. It was a fun night!

Monday, September 18 4:15 PM We had 19 golfers but five wayward players who did not participate in our game. We had 13 guys at the Ironwood. Dale Bielek won Closest to the Pin on #5 and there were two skins, one each for Tom Weaver and Dan O'Grady. All prize winners were generous to the kitty but our investment club chose a loser! See you next week!

Monday, September 11 3:45 PM The annual match between St. Bernadette and St. Angela was played and ended in a tie. That means St. Angela keeps the cup for another year. Many of our Winter Leaguge gang played early and we had a very big crowd at The Ironwood Cafe. It was a fun night. Our investment club started off the year with a tie . . . no gain, no loss!

Monday, September 4 No Winter League Golf Have a great and restful holiday!
Labor Day

Monday, August 28 4:30 PM We had 10 golfers on a great night to kick off the Winter League Season. One other member joined us at the Ironwood. Dave Martens won Closest to the Pin on #5 and there were three skins, one each for Joe Sweeney, Dave Martens and Dan O'Grady. We have a new server for this season named Erin and the new manager is Marie. One of our servers from last year, Paige, will also be there to help. There was a lot of laughing going on and the food was great. Everybody was generous to the kitty on our first night. Thanks!
