The Winter League Christmas Party was held at 6:00 PM at the Rocky River Brewing Company on Monday, December 2nd.
Good food, huge shrimp and brotherly love!
We had 23 guys and all had a good time! Thanks to RRBC for great service!

Monday, November 25	2:00 PM	Sunset time is 5:01 PM. Play will most likely be on the Front Nine at Legacy.

Monday, November 18	2:00 PM	Eight guys played the Legacy Front Nine. Three others joined at The Ironwood. Mike Eyerman had closest to the pin on Number 4. There were five skins, two for Dan O'Grady and one each for Dave Martens, Mike Brezina and Glen Peterson. The Investment Club made a wise choice and we also decided to make a second Investment on Thursday night! Fingers crossed! (Finger crossing didn't work. We lost on Thursday night.)

Monday, November 11	2:00 PM	I received a report that two groups played on different courses. There were no scores recorded or prizes awarded. Everyone had a good time at The Ironwood and the investment club "laid low". See you next week (11/18).

Monday, November 4	2:00 PM	We had 15 players and three non-players. Golfers played the front nine at Hilliard Lakes. Jeff Burke had Closest to the Pin on Number 5 and made his birdie for a skin! Dan O'Grady had the other skin. We had a great time and good conversation during dinner. Then we made a bad investment choice . . . But the good news is that the Investment Club Manager did not make the investment so we DID NOT lose. Sometimes mistakes work out for the best!

Monday, October 28	3:00 PM	We had 11 players and two non-players. Golfers played the back nine at Hilliard Lakes. Mike Brezina had Closest to the Pin on Number 15. There were five skins. Dan O'Grady had two skins. Mike Presley, Greg Baraona and Mike Eyerman each had one skin. We all had fun and the Investment Club picked a winner!

Monday, October 21	3:15 PM	We had 13 players and four non-players. I think everybody had fun because it was so loud in the room! Golfers played the front nine at Hilliard Lakes and there were NO skins. Dave Skok had Closest to the Pin on Number 5. The Investment Club made two choices, one loser and one winner. Oh well . . .

Monday, October 14	3:30 PM	Hilliard Lakes and several other area courses were closed and rightly so. The weather was unpleasant. We had 6 guys show up at The Ironwood and we had a nice meal. We left in time to get home to see our beloved Indians lose to the Yankees, but we made a good choice with the Investment Club!

Monday, October 7	3:30 PM	We had 12 players, one non-player and one guest at the Ironwood. Golfers played the back nine at Hilliard Lakes. Glen Peterson had Closest to the Pin on Number 15 and made his birdie! There were five skins, one each for Dan Galmarini, Glen Peterson, Mike Eyerman, Dale Bielek and Bob Marinez. We watched the sad ending of the Tribe playoff game together and then made a poor choice on our Monday Night Investment. :-((

Monday, September 30	3:30 PM	We had 13 players and three non-players at the Ironwood. Hilliard Lakes was closed and our group played at the Sweetbriar Legends Course. Joe Sweeney had Closest to the Pin on Number 4 and there were three skins, one each for John Russo, Brian Guercio and Mike Brezina. There was some confusion at the Ironwood, a rare mistake made by me and a lot of loud talking, BUT our investment club picked two winners! John Russo violated Winter League Rule #1 in a big way, but it was his first offense and there were extenuating circumstances. I have judged him with leniency and look forward to his successful rehabilitation.

Monday, September 23	3:45 PM	We had 15 players and one guest at the Ironwood. It looked like rain all day long, but turned out to be a nice day. Dave Skok had closest to the pin on #5. There were three skins, one each for Mike Eyerman, Greg Baraona and Joe Sweeney. The investment club had two opportunities. We won one and lost one. Even Steven!

Monday, September 16	4:00 PM	We had 14 players and one guest at the Ironwood on a perfect night. Mike Presley was the big winner. Mike had closest to the pin on #15 and he made the putt for a birdie and our only skin. Good job Mike! The investment club tanked on our first night in action!

Monday, September 9	3:30 PM	It was reported to me that St. Bernadette defeated St. Angela in the annual fall match! We won by a score of 9-7. Congratulations to us!!! Also, I received a late report concerning Winter League Golf. There were 11 players and three skins, one each for Mike Eyerman, John Russo and Tim Coyne. Remind me to give you your prize money. :-))

Monday, August 26	4:30 PM	On the first night of Winter League Golf we had 11 guys show up to play and one non-player joined us at The Ironwood Cafe. The St. Angela League was still playing so we moved from the front nine to the back nine. Mike Brezina had closest to the pin on #15. There were three skins, one each for Dan Galmarini, Greg Baraona and Dan O'Grady. New Winter League player Mark Gleichauf joined us for the first time and had the low gross score of 39. Welcome Mark!
